About Our Staff
We know that every child is unique and deserves a unique education. Our highly qualified teachers and staff guide the way for your child to become independent while making good choices. We strive to ensure that your children will be introduced to every aspect of learning in their formative years, so they're prepared for the future.
We are extremely proud of our excellent staff of teachers, directors, and support staff. We require on-going training for our staff. All of our staff are trained in First Aid and CPR. We take great pride and responsibility to keep safe, educate, and nurture the children within our care.
Meet Our Team
Gloria Leach - Infant Teacher
Gloria Leach brings heart, creativity, and a wealth of experience to our infant classroom. As head teacher, she leads with compassion and joy, creating hands-on activities that spark imagination and growth.
Gloria's journey in early childhood education began when she opened and operated her own home daycare for four years, where she gained valuable experience providing nurturing, personalized care. She later worked in daycare centers, continuing her commitment to supporting children's early development.
In addition Gloria brings 12 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, giving her a broad understanding of child development across multiple age groups. She is currently pursuing her TECE 1 and TECE 2 certifications and holds a First Aid and CPR certification.
She draws strength and inspiration from one of her favorite scriptures, "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our inequities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53:5-6
Irmana Pierre 12-18 month year old Teacher
Irmana has been a dedicated member of our daycare family for the past two years, serving as the teacher for the 12-18 month year old. From those exciting first steps to first words, she plays an important role in supporting each child's early growth and development. The children adore her caring nature, joyful energy, and the fun songs she brings into the classrooms.
Last year, Ms. Irmana earned her Early Childhood Teaching Certification. She is also Certified Medical Assistant, which brings an added level of attentiveness and care to her work with children.
Her favorite scripture is, "Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for there by some have entertained angels unawares. Remember them that in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body." Hebrews 13: 1-3
Richamel Trabi - 18-24 Teacher
Richamel is the head teacher of our 18-24 month classroom. She brings over 14 years of experience in early childhood education, having worked with children of all ages - from infants to high school students. Richamel holds an Associate's Degree in Biblical Studies and is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Her background in both childcare and faith-based education is evident in her gentle, patient, and structured teaching style. Richamel is passionate about nurturing young children and is especially devoted to creating a spiritually enriching environment where little ones can grow in their knowledge and love of God.
Her favorite scripture is, "Jesus Answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6
Deena Spaulding-Penn Two-Year-Old Teacher
Deena has been a valued member of our daycare team since February 2019 and is currently the lead teacher of our two-year-old classroom. With seven years of experience, she brings both heart and expertise to her role every day.
She holds a degree in Public Policy and has also completed the TECE 1 and TECE 2 certification in Early Childhood Education.
Her classroom is a joyful, energetic space where fun and learning go hand in hand, she believes in the power of play-based learning and creates an environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to grow.
Each week, Deena carefully plans lessons that reflect the individual developmental needs of her students, incorporating creative activities that nurture cognitive, emotional, and social development. Her goal is not only to support foundational skills, but also to spark a lifelong love of learning in every child she teaches.
She is also guided by her favorite scripture "Be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God" Philippians 4:6
Elaine Kellam - Infant Assistant Teacher
Elaine joined our team in the summer of 2025 as the assistant in the Infant Classroom. With a background in Business, she originally planned a different path but her deep love for her grandchildren and the joy she found in spending time with little ones ultimately led her to Early Childhood Education.
Since her very first day, Elaine has brought warmth, energy, and a natural ability to connect with our youngest learners. Her nurturing personality and genuine enthusiasm for working with infants have made her a beloved presence in the classroom.
Her favorite scripture is " So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, I am your God; I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
Kimberly Leahy Two - Year - Old Assistant Teacher
Kim has been a valued member of Concord Christian Daycare since March 2021. She assists in the 2-year-old classroom, working closely with Ms. Deena to provide a caring, nurturing environment for the children.
She finds joy in coming to work each day. Spending time with the kids brings her happiness and fulfillment. She especially loves reading books with the children, using story time as a way to connect, teach, and inspire young imaginations.
Known for her dedication and attentiveness, Kim is always mindful to ensure each child's needs are met with compassion and care. Her gentle presence and commitment make her a trusted and beloved part of the classroom.
Kim loves the Bible verse, "For God so loved the world, that he gave He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting". John: 3:16
